What are Macros?


Macros, short for macronutrients, are nutrients that provide us with energy (commonly identified as calories). The prefix “Macro” derives it's meaning from the Greek root “Makro,” meaning big or large. This root is used because these nutrients are required by our bodies in large amounts. There are 3 types of macros: Carbs, Fat, and Protein.

Frequently Asked Questions


Ordering

Is there a sign up deadline?

The order deadline to receive meals overnight Sunday is Wednesday at 12 PM of the week prior.

Could one account on be shared by two or more people?

Our plans were designed with the individual member in mind. As such, each member must sign up online in order to create their own account to be able to manage their meal preferences and exclusions.

Can I pause my membership?

Your MultiFood membership can either be paused until further notice or for specific delivery dates by emailing us at info@multifood.ca. We kindly ask for all requests for the following week to be submitted by Wednesday at 12 PM. Due to the extensive planning and preparation required by our service, we are unable to accommodate any pause requests or refunds after this deadline.

What are my payment options?

MultiFood is a weekly service that requires payment with a credit or debit card. Payments are recurring, and you will be billed weekly until your membership is paused.

To pause your membership, you may email us at info@multifood.ca at any time. Please be advised that all requests must be submitted by 12 PM each Wednesday for the following week's deliveries.

Does MultiFood have a referral program?

Yes we do! Upon signing up, you will receive an automated email which will include your referral code. This code will also be included in an envelope with your first delivery. Feel free to share this code with your friends and family. Each time your unique code is used during checkout, $10 will be deducted from the first week of service and a $10 credit will be applied to your MultiFood account.


Meals

How do I heat my meals?

Meals are already cooked and conveniently packaged in microwave-safe containers, all you need to do is heat and eat. To heat meals in microwave, remove the lid and heat for 60-90 seconds (may vary depending your machine).

How do I know when to eat which meal?

Each meal we produce comes with the full macronutrient info with the specific ingredients displayed clearly on each package. You should be consuming Multi Food meals every 3-4 hour depending on your health and fitness goals.

What if I have an allergy?

We take food allergies seriously. During the registration process, you have the option to check your allergies and/or dislikes so that we can make certain that we can appropriately accommodate your needs.


Delivery

What are the delivery days and times?

Delivered Sunday's from 10:00am to 10:00pm

How will my meals be delivered?

All of our meals arrive in microwave-safe eco-friendly containers, and are delivered inside an insulated lunch bag with ice packs so you can conveniently carry your meals with you throughout the day. It is required that you place your insulated lunch bags and ice packs out for the driver to pick up at the time of your next delivery. NOTE: There is a fee of $20 for each cooler bag (with ice packs) that are not returned.

What if I reside in a gated community?

If you reside in a gated community, please advise the security guard to allow deliveries from MultiFood. Our delivery team can then bring your meals right up to your door.
